Beware of mortgage modification companies that use terms like lawyer on staff or Lawyer-Based. In these cases they are not your attorney, they are not retained and do not work for you. Be sure you have actually hired an attorney to protect your rights and ask to speak to that attorney to confirm they are working for you. You may also confirm their status with the AZ Bar Association.
Loan modification companies do nothing that the borrower could not do on their own.
